Financial Planning & Cashflow
I help you decide what you want life to look like, then map the steps to fund it. I am independent, Chartered and a Fellow with more than 25 years of experience in Reigate.

Financial planning made simple
Financial planning is a practical process. We agree the life you want. We check where you are now. We turn that into simple actions you can follow.
It brings your income, spending, savings, pensions, investments and loans into one clear picture. You will see how each part supports the others. You will know what to do next.
What this covers
Every plan is different. These are the areas I usually bring together.
- Goals that are specific and realistic
- Day to day budget with an emergency fund that suits your situation
- Sensible use of debt with a plan to reduce what is not helping
- Pension strategy across old and current schemes
- ISA and investment approach that fits your risk level
- Mortgage choices with smart use of overpayments
- Protection for family and income so the plan survives shocks
- Tax allowances used in the right order without complexity
- Gifting and estate wishes so money goes where you want
Why it matters
Without a plan, money drifts. Clients ask the same core questions.
Can I retire at 60.
Can we help the children without risking our future.
Are we saving enough each month.
How much risk do we need to take.
What happens if rates stay high.
Planning turns these questions into clear choices.
How I help
I build a personal roadmap that fits your life. We model scenarios in plain English. We agree the next steps. We review regularly so nothing drifts. You always know what to do next.
Case study
A couple in their forties wanted private school for two children plus retirement at 60. The model showed a gap in years three to five. We trimmed non-essentials for a period, redirected surplus to ISAs and pensions, set a sensible investment mix, and added income protection. School funded. Retirement at 60 still on track with a buffer.

Cashflow modelling in plain English
Think of cashflow as a year by year view of your money. We map income, spending and savings over time. We add the real events that matter to you. School fees. A new mortgage rate. Pension contributions. Planned gifts. Holidays you actually want to take.
On screen you will see a simple timeline. It shows when costs rise, how pensions and ISAs build, and how your income could look under cautious, base and upbeat market returns. We test the plan until it holds together. If something does not work, we adjust then test again. You will know the size of your safety margin if markets dip or costs rise. The aim is confidence in the choices you make today, not guesswork.
What you receive
You will leave with a clear plan, not a pile of jargon.
- A written plan in plain English
- Your live cashflow model with agreed scenarios
- A short action list for the next three things to do
- Full implementation support so tasks are completed
- A review rhythm that keeps you in control
