I am independent, Chartered and a Fellow with more than 25 years of experience in Reigate. I build clear plans that show what is possible and what to change.

What is cashflow planning

Cashflow planning gives you a year by year picture of your finances. We map income, spending, savings and goals into a single view. Then we test scenarios together — retiring early, moving house, paying school fees, helping children. You will see how each choice affects the rest of the plan.

It is not a prediction. It is a decision tool. It helps you see the likely range of outcomes under cautious, base and upbeat market returns so you can act with confidence.

What this covers

Every plan is tailored. These are the areas I usually include.

  • Today’s position — earnings, spending, savings, pensions, debt
  • Goals with dates and amounts
  • Assumptions we agree — inflation, returns, pay rises, major costs
  • Big life events — school fees, new mortgage terms, property moves, gifts
  • Pension options — contributions now and income later
  • Risk and buffers — cash reserves to avoid selling at the wrong time

Why it matters

Uncertainty causes delay.

Delay costs money.

A clear cashflow view turns worry into actions you can follow.

How I help

I gather the numbers, build your model, and test scenarios live with you. We agree the next steps, then review on a rhythm so the plan stays current.

Case study

A couple in their forties wanted private school and retirement at 60. The model showed a gap in years three to five. We trimmed non essentials for a period, redirected surplus to ISAs and pensions, and added income protection. Both goals now track with a buffer.

Cashflow modelling in plain English

Think of this as your financial sat nav. We set the destination. It shows the routes. It highlights bottlenecks. It updates as life changes.

What you will see on screen

  • A timeline of income, spending and goals
  • Peaks where costs rise such as fees or a new mortgage rate
  • Pension and ISA balances over time
  • Income paths under cautious, base and upbeat returns
  • Your safety margin if markets dip or costs rise

What you receive

You will leave with a clear plan, not a pile of jargon. You will have your live model, a short action list, full implementation support, and a review rhythm that keeps you in control.
