Financial Education
I am independent, Chartered and a Fellow with more than 25 years of experience in Reigate. I deliver simple, engaging sessions that help people make better decisions about pensions, savings and day to day money.

What financial education is
Financial education is a structured way to help people understand their money. We explain the basics in plain English. We show what to do next. Staff learn how their pension works, how to save well, how to manage debt, and how to make the most of the benefits you already provide.
This is not product sales. It is impartial guidance that supports good decisions. The aim is simple. Less confusion. Fewer costly mistakes. More confident staff.
What this covers
Every business is different. I tailor the content to your people and their needs. Areas I am often asked to cover include:
- Pensions made simple. Auto enrolment, contributions, investment choices, retirement options
- Salary sacrifice. How it works and why it can improve take home pay
- Savings and investing. ISAs, risk levels, time horizons
- At retirement. Annuities, drawdown, tax free cash, State Pension timing
- Budgeting and debt. Building an emergency fund, using credit wisely
- Protection basics. Life cover, income protection, what the employer provides
- Tax year end planning. Allowances to consider before deadlines
Who this suits & why it matters
Growing firms that want to support financial wellbeing.
Teams with mixed ages who need different messages at different life stages.
Businesses that want to reduce staff questions to HR about pensions and benefits.
Leaders who want to show they care, without adding heavy admin.
Money worries reduce focus at work. Clear education lifts confidence, improves benefit take up and cuts avoidable mistakes. People feel looked after which helps them stay.
How I help
I design a simple programme that fits your goals and budget. Workshops for the whole team. Short clinics for one to one questions. Clear guides people can keep. I measure what worked and improve the next round.
Case study
A firm of sixty staff wanted better pension engagement. We ran two workshops, set up one to one clinics and launched clear salary sacrifice guides. Take up increased. Opt outs fell. HR reported fewer repeat questions and higher satisfaction in the next survey.

Formats and delivery
We start with a short call to confirm goals. Hire faster. Cut churn. Improve benefit use. I then propose a programme in plain English with topics, timings and costs.
Delivery is flexible. I can run in person sessions at your office. I can run live video workshops for remote teams. I offer one to one money clinics for private questions. Managers get a short briefing so they know what to expect and how to signpost staff.
Each session uses simple slides and real examples. People leave with a one page summary and links to the benefits they can use today.
What you receive
A clear proposal that fits your aims and budget. Agendas for each session. Slides and handouts in plain English. One to one clinic slots for private support. A feedback summary with actions for the next step.
